About FASD Support Groups
We are a "no blame, no shame" organisations that understands that it's important to help people without judging. Many women drink socially and that's totally normal in so many situations. So many times during a woman’s life there are situations where it's expected that you have "just a little" to fit in. Weddings, hens nights or simply a drink with the girls. However the focus we have is to educate, assist and support people effected in some way by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

HISTORY & MISSION
Our mission has been to help young people in the early years of their life’s for many, many years. Today however, we are foster carers for 3 children, all effected by a range of physical damage caused directly by FASD. Needless to say, we have first hand experience in managing special needs children like ours. We have also come to realise there is very limited help for parents and carers of children like ours. However that's where we can make a difference, WE ARE NOT ALONE. In order for FASD to be addressed at an individual level, we need to be in contact with each other. We need to raise the level of knowledge to help each child to achieve there full potential and WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER.
